Apologies to the under 12 boys for not getting their fixture on the website. However a brilliant display against St Pauls at Musgrave earned a win in their championship semi final over a strong St Pauls team. An early goal wasn't enough to get the St Pauls boys to drop their heads and the first half saw end to end play. Another goal later in the half and a few points did allow Naomh Gall to pull away at half time although they were turning into the breeze. The second half was again end to end stuff although scores were harder to come by although the St Pauls goalie pulled off a great save with about ten minutes to go to ensure St Pauls still had something to play for. The St Galls backs though showed great steel to keep any St Pauls scoring chances to a minimum while the forwards, although not scoring as much in the second half, continually won ball and were always dangerous. A well deserved win in a very exciting match.

Cross Eyed & Spied

The big freeze continues and all the associated problems especially for the footballers and hurlers securing training facilities. And if you're going out, to the club for a beer perhaps, make sure to put on a big coat, you'll appreciate it when you're going home. But what if you haven't got a big coat I hear you ask? Well one individual has found a way around this, just take someone else's coat! Even if it doesn't fit and the other person has to go home cold.
