The Committee and games team send out a big thank you to all those members who 'stayed off' the main pitch during the year.
The committee and games team would like to send out a big thank you to all of those mentors and members who used the pitches in the proper manner last season. We will continue to monitor use of the ‘main’ pitch, and limit use to matches only. However it is now closed until further notice! We do this to maintain its quality, and we would again thank those members who clearly understand and appreciate the greater interests of the whole club. There are those, unfortunately, who continue to disregard initiatives. We ask that the whole club help us police this and take a ‘collective responsibility’ approach. Thank you

Cross Eyed & Spied
The big freeze continues and all the associated problems especially for the footballers and hurlers securing training facilities. And if you're going out, to the club for a beer perhaps, make sure to put on a big coat, you'll appreciate it when you're going home. But what if you haven't got a big coat I hear you ask? Well one individual has found a way around this, just take someone else's coat! Even if it doesn't fit and the other person has to go home cold. |
